Christmas Cookies Recipe

Christmas is just around the corner

Have you prepared a gift for your friends and family?

It’s also a good idea to make a Christmas biscuit yourself as a gift.

  • Christmas Cookies

Butter 4.6 oz
Icing sugar 1.8 oz
Low gluten powder 5.6 oz
Egg wash 1.1 oz
Almond flour 0.9 oz
Salt 1/3 tsp

4 flavours

Dash tea / 2 tsp matcha powder, 1 tsp hot water
Cocoa flavour / 1 tsp cocoa powder
Red Velvet Original / 2 drops

Garnishing ingredients (additions in moderation)

White chocolate
Dark chocolate
Christmas candy beads

  • Steps

1. Soften the butter in advance at room temperature until it can be easily pressed into the bottom with your fingers.
Add the icing sugar and salt and beat until fluffy and feathery and white in colour.

2. Add the egg mixture in 2 batches, beating well.

3. Add the sifted flour and mix well, then add the almond flour and mix well.

4. Divide into 4 equal portions, except for the original flavour
Add matcha powder, chocolate powder and red velvet original to mix separately.

5. Put a laminating nozzle and bag on the baking tray and line it with silicon paper.
Squeeze Christmas trees, hearts and other biscuit shapes onto the greaseproof paper
Try to squeeze them all the same size.

6. Bake in the middle of a preheated oven at 160°C for 20 minutes.
Take care with the colouring, don’t overbake, if it comes on too quickly, cover the top again with tin foil.

7. Melt the white chocolate and dark chocolate separately in hot water. Melt the white and dark chocolate separately over hot water.

Dip the baked Christmas biscuits into the chocolate mixture and decorate with Christmas candy beads.

Leave to set until the chocolate has set.

8. Box the Christmas biscuits, wrap them and you have a beautiful Christmas gift box!
